![]() ![]() Jonathan and Munky are currently planning to take the Queen Of The Damned Soundtrack on the road! Munky and Jonathan are recruiting musicians for a band that will help them perform the movie soundtrack. The tour is scheduled to begin next year. KoRn recently joined forces with MTV - again - for the first ever mtvTREATMENT - a show to air this fall in which a lucky winner will get to direct KoRn's next video. Everyone is encouraged to write their own video treatment for KoRn's next single, 'Alone I Break'! The deadline to send in treatments has already passed, but stay tuned to KoRn.com and MTV to find out when the winner will be announced! "We wanted to do Fuck Pop, but you know all the bullshit involved with that," Davis tells allstar. "So we got the Pop Sux tour and it went from there -- because I hate all that fucking bullshit." Davis got the idea for the tour while in Munich, Germany, during a pop festival. "It started out as a prank," he says. "We rented this plane and got a huge banner that said "Fuck Pop. Love Korn," and it flew over the festival the whole time it was going on. It was a funny-ass joke." Korn is scaling back the onstage theatrics for this tour, leaving the focus on the music and the video projection screens that will be showcasing the usual warped mind of the band, shot by longtime Korn collaborator Nathan Cox. "It's all B-movie, horror film, Evil Dead, little-kid-in-a-house weird shit," says Davis. "We shot little girls running around all bloody with knives and tricycles and crazy shit." And just to make sure all the kiddies will be subjected to such scenes of mayhem, Korn has set aside a limited number of tickets at a $10 discount for fans aged 19 and under. "I think the fucking economy right now is so fucking horribly fucked that parents can't really afford to give their kids money to go see shows," says Davis. "So we were thinking we would give the kids a break." But if you're old enough to drink, you're old enough to pay full price to see Korn. "Their 21-year-old asses can go get a job," says Davis. "I had a job when I was 21. I paid for my own shit." A new US Tour will begin in October. The tour follows KoRn's European tour and will be called the "Pop Sux Tour". Opening for KoRn on most of the dates are the bands Disturbed and TRUST Company. Be sure to visit the KoRn KaMp and watch the latest videos from the road! Jonathan had said that they sometimes listen to Neil Diamond before going on stage. The song has a very lounge-lizard feel but with a KoRn twist! Download it now before it's gone! KoRn's latest single, "Thoughtless" can be viewed at www.KoRn.com and MTV as well as other various music video resources. If you had any doubt that KoRn were out of the picture, guess again! They are back with a motherfucking vengeance! KoRn Rules...period! KoRn's performance at Madison Square Garden was nothing short of amazing! Songs performed off of 'UNTOUCHABLES' included 'Here To Stay' (this was the opener), 'Blame', 'Embrace' and 'Thoughtless'. The performance was incredible and also included KoRn's rendition of 'One' by Metallica. It was part of 'Make Me Bad' and very cool. The stage setup was pretty simple and basic. Around the front of the stage it looked like a giant TV and behind the band was a giant screen which showed various images. The band was in full form and kicked some serious ass! He compared it to when the record company pressed 50,000 promo discs and made the band give them out at shows when they were first starting out. Jonathan says they make music for people to hear it. "If that's the way it's going, that's the way it's going...you can't stop it..." Well it happened! Call it a disaster or a godsend, but Untouchables has been LEAKED! People all over the internet are downloading what is apparently the new album. Whether it is in fact the new album or not will be seen on June 11th, 2002. The name of the songs that have been leaked are: I have heard most of this album and have to say it is their best yet! Extremely heavy and different than anything KoRn has done thus far. The band has released no comment as of yet, but we'll let you know when they do. Rumors persist that this is NOT the album (even though the songs ARE BRAND NEW KORN MATERIAL) and also that the band themselves may have leaked it. We'll keep you posted. UNTOUCHABLES, the new KoRn album was scheduled for release on May 14th, 2002 but has since been pushed back to June 11th, 2002. The album was reported to have cost around 4 MILLION dollars to make. Fieldy said, "We spent a lot of time on it, and money. We're up to like three-and-a-half million on it now, which is ridiculous for a record." I'm sure it will be money well spent. The album is currently being mixed by Andy Wallace. The first single, Here To Stay will hit airwaves the third week of March. Queen of the Damned is in theaters now and features not only Jonathan's singing voice as the Vampire LeStat, but also has Jonathan in a cameo role as a ticket scalper. Don't miss it!
